Twist of Fate – formerly "The Extranjero" a Surrey based Rock band playing what we call "Kick Assed Chilled Out Rock" think U2, Whitesnake, Pink Floyd and a bit of Ibiza chill out. We accomplish this with well known covers, Pink Floyd Tribute and high quality original material. The band consists of:
Vince Barnes – Rhythm Guitar/Vocals
Mike Vishnick – Drums
Huw Pryce – Bass Guitar
Chas Lacey – Lead guitar
With the album “I Have A Dream” for release in June 2011, we are organising a tour in Summer 2011 to promote this Album and title track – an uplifting Rock song that takes you on a journey of the bands dream.
Playing a different format we have perfected a show to wow audiences across the country. We start with covers through the ages to get you started, a Pink Floyd Tribute– in larger shows this will include lighting and effects to deliver a true Pink Floyd Experience.
Finally we play original music. ranging from Rock Ballads “Don’t Say Goodbye”, - a haunting ballad with real bite, through to more rockier numbers “Step into the sunlight” with a wicked solo, and “Crazy Lady” – a song that takes you on a rollercoaster ride through melancholy, happiness then shakes your boots during the chorus and, just when you thought it was safe to relax, picks you up and rocks your foundations.
Our primary aim when we play – whether to 10 or 10,000 people, is to ensure they all leave the place with smiles on their faces having witnessed a bit of magic.
